Hey, I’m Justin — the founder of Devbo, and honestly… this whole journey still feels a little surreal.
I didn’t start with a perfect plan or a pile of money. I started with a lot of curiosity, a bit of stubbornness, and a real desire to help people get online without the overwhelm. Back in early 2022, I quit my job without a backup. No safety net. Just this gut feeling that I had to build something of my own — something that actually made a difference for people trying to grow their ideas.
And yeah, it was kind of wild.
One of my very first breaks came from a conversation with my massage therapist, Cameron (shoutout to him! @massagealchemist). I ended up building a full website for him before he even paid me — not because I was trying to be flashy, but because I genuinely believed in showing what I could do instead of telling. Obviously that’s not always the route you want to take, but that little leap of faith snowballed into referrals, new clients, and a growing reputation for quality work and a new sense of freedom (even though I may work even more now).
Now, Devbo’s grown into a go-to web design agency for startups, coaches, local businesses, and even international organizations.
But here’s the thing — none of this happened by accident.
Devbo was built with intention, and a strong one at that. Every project starts with strategy. Every decision is made with the client in mind. And every step forward is driven by the same energy I had on day one: Let’s make something awesome, and let’s do it the right way.
